At Lachoix, we work exclusively with small, highly skilled shoemaking ateliers. Our close relationship with these partners allows us to oversee every step of the process — from the choice of leathers to the final details — ensuring that each pair reflects our core values: quality, elegance, and comfort.
We produce in limited quantities to preserve craftsmanship, reduce waste, and avoid the logic of mass production. This approach gives us agility and precision, while respecting the artisanal spirit that defines our brand.
Made in Portugal
Every Lachoix shoe is proudly Made in Portugal, a reflection of our roots and our commitment to ethical, high-quality manufacturing. All production takes place locally, ensuring short supply chains, traceability, and responsible working conditions.
We source our leathers primarily from Italy and Spain, always from tanneries that work with hides reclaimed from the food industry — reducing waste and promoting circularity. Many of our partners are certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), a global organisation driving transparency and sustainability across the leather sector.
To us, Made in Portugal means more than origin — it means authenticity, respect for tradition, and conscious craftsmanship.
